AAU Basketball Coach Medrano of Ultimate Champions


I played basketball for the first time At Holy Cross from the 6th grade to the 8th. I also played at Thomas Jefferson High School. I graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1991 and quickly enlisted in the Navy during the Desert Shield / Storm  campaign.  I was recognized by my superiors and peers by being nominated and receiving 4 sailor of the quarter awards 1 sailor of the year award, and 2 Navy achievement medals along with numerous other nominations for academic achievement and meritorious service awards.


I received extensive medical training in 1993 at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, then transferred to Camp Pendleton, CA in 1994 where I was assigned as the Senior line Corpsman with a Marine Corps Special Amphibious Reconnaissance unit.  I moved up the ranks to an E-5 in 4 years where I then furthered my training as a trauma / combat medic EMT – D, receiving numerous service medals for academic achievement.
