Training in the pre-season and during the basketball season can really push the boundaries of ideal recovery.  You need to focus on the details even after you leave the court.  Sweat the small stuff.  Try reviving within 45 minutes of your workout.  Skip the Gatorade and try a glass of lowfat chocolate milk.  Drink plenty of water as well.
